For double Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne’s son Leo’s first Christmas, the brand is revealing an exclusive model, as beautiful as it is efficent. DS Design Studio Paris has come up with an incredible baby walker, inspired by work already carried out on Jean-Éric Vergne’s DS 4 E Tense 225 Performance Line plus. Driven by the spirit of the avant-garde and backed by an exceptional heritage, DS Automobiles, born in 2014, aims to embody the French art of travel. Remarkable products, discernible French luxury savoir-faire, coupled with a suite of bespoke services, DS Automobiles offers a unique experience before, during and after every journey.

An almost unlimited top speed, acceleration related to human ability, no CO2 emissions, remarkable refinement … DS Automobiles is introducing a unique baby walker for a unique opportunity. Offered to Leo Vergne, son of Jean-Éric Vergne, for his first Christmas, this baby walker was designed by DS Design Studio Paris with a unique specification.

This baby walker carries the design language of Jean-Éric Vergne’s exclusive DS 4 E Tense 225 Performance Line plus. The Satin Anthracite Grey paint and a Lacquered Black wrap act as lightly constrasting colours with graphic lines for an impression of speed.

At the front, three lighting modules and an expressive grille with the DS badge above it have been designed under a personalised “Leo” badge. The large diameter wheels play with the look of DS 4 E Tense 225’s rims with alternating Lacquered Black and Satin Anthracite Grey.

The seat is covered in Alcantara® with Gold and Carmine stitching, like the steering wheel completely covered in leather and stitched with the same Gold and Carmine thread used on DS 4’s Performance Line versions, with 12-o'clock marking useful for a dynamic driving. Leo Vergne will find his baby walker under the Christmas tree with best wishes from DS Automobiles!

Jean-Éric Vergne’s exclusive DS 4 E Tense 225 Performance Line plus

2019 and 2020 Formula E champion Jean-Éric Vergne drives a DS 4 E Tense 225 whose design has been personalised by DS Design Studio Paris. In its most dynamic Performance Line plus specification, DS 4 features an #Alcantara interior enhanced by a perforated leather steering wheel with a forged carbon insert, finished with exclusive door sills bearing the double champion’s signature. Exterior personalisation is the result of work carried out by the Brand’s teams who with this design were committed to following the driver’s directions, to make it unique in a “pursuit of refined harmony”. The bi-tone finish subtly combines a new Satin Anthracite Grey with a Lacquered Black on the roof that extends to the bonnet, a first in a production DS. This is enhanced with carbon trim applied to the bottom of the doors, the rear bumper and the front splitter. The black line graphics emphasise the sporty nature of this DS 4. The bonnet badge features the “JEV” logo, which signs off this exclusive design. This DS 4 has a 225-horsepower plug-in hybrid powertrain giving it a 100% electric range of up to 62 km on the WLTP combined cycle.
