Standortausbau Forchheim: 350-Millionen-Projekt feiert Richtfest

»Siemens Healthineers« feierte heute gemeinsam mit dem Generalunternehmer »PORR« am Standort in Forchheim das Richtfest für das »High Energy Photonics«-(»HEP«)-Center«. Der Festakt mit Mitarbeiteten und geladenen Gästen fand im Rohbau des neuen Gebäudes statt. Hier wird »#Siemens #Healthineers« zukünftig die Fertigung, Forschung und Entwicklung sowie die #Logistik von #Röntgenröhren und #Generatoren bündeln. Diese Komponenten sind Hauptbestandteile moderner #Computertomografen, #Angiographie- und #Röntgensysteme. 

Die neue Fabrik wird vollständig #digital vernetzt sein und über hochautomatisierte Anlagen verfügen, die künftig helfen, die Produktionskosten zu reduzieren, die Qualität der Produkte zu erhöhen und ausreichend Kapazitäten für weiteres Wachstum bereit zu stellen. Ein eigens entwickeltes Energiekonzept soll einen nahezu kohlendioxydneutralen Betrieb des Gebäudekomplexes ermöglichen. Das »HEP«-Center soll Ende 2023 in Betrieb gehen und Raum für etwa 700 Arbeitsplätze bieten.

»Siemens Healthineers« and general contractor »PORR« celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the »High Energy Photonics«-(»HEP«)-Center today in Forchheim, Germany. The ceremony with employees and invited guests took place in the shell of the new building. In the future, »Siemens Healthineers« will bundle the production, research and development as well as the logistics of X-ray tubes and generators here. These components are the main components of modern computed tomography, angiography and X-ray systems. The new factory will be fully digitally connected and will have highly automated equipment that will help reduce production costs, increase product quality and provide sufficient capacity for further growth in the future. A specially developed energy concept was designed to enable almost carbon-dioxyide-neutral operation of the building complex. The »HEP Center« is scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2023 and offer space for around 700 workplaces.
